tidbits & bits of tits..

1). is anyone else out there SICK & TIRED of the Casey Anthony trial? I want SOMEONE to just put the bitch on the stand, give her Sodium Pentothal and extract the truth once and for all. all these lies and game playing is costing tax payers SO much money, and for what? Baez, in my opinion, is trying to prove her lies, how much longer is he gonna be her bitch before the truth comes out.. that is, IF it EVER does. how cold hearted Casey is to put her parents through all of this. I wash my hands and feet of the lot of ‘em!

2). god bless my honey’s lil heart.. she found a floating squirrel in our pool the other day and got it out. she gave it mouth to mouth and chest compressions to try to revive it, to no avail. so she gave it a lil funeral. then a few days later due to the wind, a bird’s nest with baby birds a few days old, fell on our deck. one baby made it’s way to behind a wooden wall we have and Diane found it. she was very careful not to touch it as the mama bird would abandon it if a human did, but she left out water soaked bread for it. and we saw the mama bird kept coming back to feed it. eventually it made it to the tree beside it, then gained it’s strength and flew away. that’s how deeply she cares for animals. on the same note, if we see a stray cat or dog, we MUST go get it to see if there is a phone number on it’s tag, calls the owner and we take care of it until they pick it up. if there is no tag, she calls our humane society to come and get it. sometimes even if they don’t have a collar, they may have a chip implanted under their skin and the SPCA can get info off it to call it’s parents. sometimes, I wonder if stray or neglected animals come to her because they know she will help them.

3). my sister Joanne and her husband are doing better now, since he lost his parents. Jo is planning a trip out here in a few weeks, just her, and will stay about a month. we can’t wait. now that her hubby is back to work, he is getting back into his routine and I know that helps him.

4). my daughter took her nursing boards last week and found out today that she passed! YEAH! SO proud of her!

5). my son Alex made the dean’s list at college. YEAH! SO proud of him, as well!

6). my oldest son Nicholas was nominated for the president’s award at work and won! so he will receive some perks, and be taken to dinner by the president of the company tomorrow night. it will be at a fancy shmancy restaurant. it’s quite an honor, he was nominated for excellence and going above and beyond duty. YEAH! SO proud of him too!

7). my youngest Christophe was accepted at Laval University in Quebec city, AND has a dorm room reserved! YEAH! SO proud of him too!

The Pop Rocks candy (the one with the reputation of killing the eater if combined with Coca-Cola) is made by pressing hot sugar and carbon dioxide together at six hundred pounds per square inch. The gas combines with the sugar, forms bubbles, and solidifies. When a person sucks on the candy, it liquefies again, causing the bubbles to POP!

your having company? ohhhh i'm soooo excited for you!! anyone i would know? wish it was me...lol

we have had several birds fall from their nests just in the last month. i don't understand it. just last week, 2!! and a few weeks ago another one. it hopped into the next yard on its own. but the one last week, it just sat there. we were leaving to go somewhere and we didn't want to touch it. we thought when we got home if it was still there, we would move it. when we got home it was gone. we found the skeletal remains of another baby that fell another time in the same place. the nest right above. sooo sad.

well, any day now....i could be leaving. just waiting on that magic moment when the mailman comes.....lol. he just isn't bringing me the right mail! dang it!! any day now!!

Congratulations to your kids! That's fabulous that they are all doing so well.

Diane seems like an angel - you did good, finding her. :)

I sheepishly admit that I cringed when you mentioned your sister coming to visit for a month! If any of my sisters stayed that long, it would be ...well..okay...it would be hellish.

I am like Mark Twain. I think fish and house guests start to stink after three days....

No insult meant, just how things are on my side of the fence...

I may be a week late in readins but I appreciate the updates just as much!! There's a chance I may arrange a meeting with Christopher since I go visit my mom in Quebec city at least once a year - I could take him out for lunch or something, show him around! Wouldn't that be cool?? assuming he would WANT to meet me, LOL :-D
