Coffee cupit has been over a year since I have worked. next Tuesday I will see the ortho doc and most likely be released to go back to work.

Coffee cupalthough this is a happy, good thing for me, it is bittersweet as I have so enjoyed the time home with the family, and specially Christophe who is living in the dorms now at UNO, but my injury/healing time allowed me to be here full time for his last days at home. also, I had my trip to my sister’s in NC, let’s not forget that!

Coffee cupI am very grateful for all I have been blessed with this past year, including all my illnesses.. which just goes to prove again that good things can come out of almost every situation, if you only open your eyes to it.

Coffee cupI want to thank everyone for all of the support and encouraging words that helped get me thru this last year. you built me up when I was depressed, and gave me hope when mine was waning. I send you all virtual smoochies and bear hugs across cyberspace…

Rolling on the floor laughingAWWW YOOOOOOU GUYS…

Nyah-Nyahyeah, YOU.. cyber noogie, bend down [cuz I’m short] and lemme rub your heads…

Coffee cupI will be starting to look for a job and being this is the holiday season, I hope I can find one. but rather than letting all the negative thoughts enter my mind and throw me into a downward spiral, I am going to lean on the faith that I will be taken care of, and that I will begin on a new journey. [takes a deep breath and crosses fingers]..

I'm glad you had time to do the things you wanted and needed to do. I'm sure this next chapter will bring new and fun adventures for you. :) Only good things!

Hey Chris, I hadn't realized you have been off for the past year. It's an amazing 'journey' isn't it, to all of a sudden be thrown into an unfamiliar setting that was not part of the 'plan'.
Sounds like you have learned a lot about yourself and have realized how strong you are!
Good luck on the new, upcoming journey...make it your best ever!
Jim

Being on sabbatical isn't a bad thing, and you young lady have had it very hard with your medical issues!

However if now is the time to get back to the workforce, you will get the job you want: karma, baby, karma!

Crossing fingers and all the chicken's toes for you mon amie :-D
