sleepless in Omaha..

yep. I can’t sleep. AGAIN. {BTW I DO love that movie} well the 2 inches of snow we got Friday night melted on Saturday. bummer, I say. I sent chitown some snow in an envelope but the darn postman threw it away because it melted in his bag onto his lap and made him look like he peed his pants. he wasn’t happy. sorry, chichi. I’ll try again another time.

Saturday evening my middle son Alex took me out for my birthday. we went to see “Skyline” a very Sci-Fi movie that definitely left itself open for a sequel. then we went to dinner. it was a very enjoyable evening and very sweet of him to do for me. today, Sunday.. we stayed home and Christophe came over for dinner and is staying overnight. we watched a movie then family guy which is our fave.. it’s nice to have both of my younger boys home again.

did anyone see Sarah Palin’s Alaska earlier tonight? it’s going to be an 8 week series. Diane and I do not like her as a political opponent, but we just had to see this show to find out if we could see a different side of her. the scenery was breath taking, she poked a few jokes at herself from her political days.. like as she was sitting on a hillside, she said “you can see Russia from here.. almost.” and laughed..

her kids are beautiful, and her husband seems like a nice guy. but there is still a little something odd about her that I cant quite pinpoint. like maybe she has an extra toe on one foot, or a big hairy mole in the shape of the kremlin on her buttock… or-or-or maybe she and Todd swing.. I dunno, there’s just something odd. know what I mean, Vern?

I guess we’ll never know.
