as I write, I am munching on a peanut butter and pimento cheese sammie. anyone evah tried it? very yummy. but I like weird combo sammies like that, anyways. here are a few of my faves;

tuna and cheese melts.

peanut butter and banana.

grilled cheese and sliced tomatoes.

radishes thinly sliced on buttered bread.

onion, mayo, salt n peppah.

cucumber and mayo.

tomato and mayo.

cinco de mayo…. just checking if you were paying attention…

hee hee..

well halloween is nearly upon us. my son Christophe is playing at a “HAUNTCERT” on sunday. the musicians will dress up in costumes and play specially selected music for kids… doesn’t that sound like fun, though? hopefully Julian can go.

I haven’t decorated for Halloween this year.. {but I’m making up for it here!} I wasn’t in the spirit and I miss those days when my kids were young and I would go all out at every holiday.   but we will put together a little somethin’ somethin’ for

alias the Jujube…  I am also going to look through old pictures I have of when Emily was little and dressed up for Halloween..  and make a little collage of her to show Julian what she dressed up as, back in the day. I think he will enjoy that.

weekend is almost here!

WTF?!?! Peanut butter and fucking pimento cheese?!? I think I just threw up a little in my mouth!!!

However, the others you listed ALL sound yummy! I LOVE peanut butter and banana sandwiches. As a matter of fact, that's what I had for dinner last night. :)

I love grilled cheese with 'maters. Awesome.
I hope you have a nice weekend, even if you are not dressed up or decorated to the nines. As long as you sometimes feel like a witch, well then it is all good in the hood.
Works for me.

Definitely some interesting sandwiches my friend! Some of them I was right there with you ("Yes - delicious!") but some of them I made a HORROR face (just in time for Halloween) and said "What the heckety heck??!" :)

I too miss when my kids were little ... Hween was SUCH fun... all the Cinderellas, Spidermans, "pretty witches", Power Rangers, etc. And then, of course, being the PARENT, you get to liberally TAX your children's candy. "20% surcharge, off the top!"

Hope you have a Happy Hween!
