we had a fantastic evening with our friends tonight. good food, good company and a roaring fire like you wouldn't believe! the temperature was just right, hardly any wind... [the beans hadn't kicked in yet].. it COULDN'T have been any better.

AND then it happened... just like that.

we had an unexpected visitor.

it was a ghost.

not just any old ghost.

see for yourself...

can you see the face looking sideways towards the right?

how about now- do you see it?

any guesses as to whom that could be?

...it's Michael Jackson....

i didn't even know he knew where i lived. and i never met him when he was alive. i couldn't tell if he was wearing the glove, or not.. but i can vouch that he didn't do the moon dance. jeez, i wasn't even thinking about him tonight. yet there he was...

i just wanted to take some pictures of our fire as it was huge.. and when i went to look at the pictures I'd taken, i saw him right there in front of me!

i know i am making light of it now but the whole thing really freaked us all out. i am still getting goose bumps just telling you about it.

have any of you peeps ever have a ghostly encounter like this? i must say it pretty much shook us up. and now Diane's asleep in bed and all of our windows are still opened... i can't close them wiff me gimpy arm... and I'm scared... I'm scared MJ will try to get in, dance at my bedside and freak me out even more! what shallst i do?

i would get up and dance along side with him! this is a one in a life time chance to dance with the king of pop! you better take it! i have to be honest, i didn't see it, even in the second picture, i still don't see it, i guess you had to be there, but like our alien experience...i don't question it, i know it happened. i was there for that one. and i have felt experiences of encounters before...never in fires....or of musical people....but just plain old people, and i know they are real. but nothing to be frightened of, they can't hurt you...so you might as well enjoy it, right? if he comes to dance...get up and frikkin dance with him....let diane sleep....bella might wake tho. lol with all that jigglin goin on....i know i would, who can say that they danced with michael frikkin jackson? go to sleep....the nice night air will do you good, and don't be scared.... i'm up all night taking care of dad....nothing EVER goes on in the wee hours of the night except peeing and creaking of old bones.....

What the hell!? As long as you didn't wake up with a sequined glove next to you, I think you'll be ok. ;-)

glad you had an enjoyable time with friends and the weather was perfect for the fire

honestly, I know there are demons and ghosts out there but I don't really take too much stalk in them, choosing to focus on the Truth, so not sure what to say about your experience with the fire

but I did chuckle over ChiTown Girl's comment, LOL

I hope today is a good one for you

Jason, as himself said...

Is this anything like when they saw Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich or the virgin Mary on the side of that building?

You crack me up.
Perhaps MJ has ties to the midwest...isn't that where his family is from. :0

I think you're onto something....Michael Jackson sightings.

I saw Elvis one time. He was driving a 18 wheeler West on Rt 80. Never saw that truck again but I keep looking for it in my travels. Now I'll have to add MJ to my list.
