Red lipsI know it's been a while since I last posted, I haven't had enough time to even think what color undies to wear each day, so I haven't! bwahahaha

Red lipsin a few days I will be finishing up with orientation.. I was working 40 hours a week. but I was hired for part time so I will drop down to 32 hours a week. they said when I was hired that if I want full time, it shouldn't be a problem, but there has to be an FTE available first. and so I wait.

Red lipsthe problem is, we are going to have to move from our little bungalow that we love so much. the windows and doors need replacing, and although our land lady is nice, she really doesn't follow through with much. like, for example, she was supposed to give us a million buckaroos, and the moon... we're still waiting on that. yep, me darlinks, the bills are a piling up. pretty soon I will have to send the wife out to work the corner truck stop...

Red lipsit's just been really hard these past 2 years, and it's going to take several more months to get our finances straightened out. if you don't hear from me for like 2 weeks, it would be that we're living in the KIA and I don't think it comes with Wi-Fi. oh, and it doesn't come with a shower, either, so it'll be a good thing not to have smellanet.

Red lipsaside from that lervely news, we started looking for other rentals, in Omaha. holy crappola, there are some DIVES out there. the kind that couldn't even be fixed up no matter how much love ya put into it. we got the eebie jeebies in this old 1925 school house that has been turned into apts. I wouldn't leave my goldfish there.

if I had one.

Red lipsI am 55 freeking years young and I kick my own ass for not having managed my finances better over the years. actually, there hasn't really been any to manage, it has always taken everything I make to live. so, you know how you're supposed to have a lil nest egg for emergencies and such? my so called egg has been done scrambled, sprinkled with cheese, and eaten years ago.. aint nuttin left 'cept a pile of cobwebs.. just like an old nun's bearded clam, just COBWEBS.

Red lipsso what's a girl like me supposed to do? I would join Diane at the truck stop, but my hand jobbins are long gone, since me injury. and if memory serves me right, I think it would make me throw up in my throat a lil. uh-hun.

Red lipsthe land lady has contracted roofies roofers to replace our roof (duh! otherwise they'd be called summit else, eh?)

Red lipsthey started at 7 a.m. this morning. along with noises the like of which no one should ever be awakened to. I sat up abruptly in bed and until I sorted out my senses, I thought I was getting laid by a MAN, and the headboard was hittin' the wall.

Red lipsand then I realized 1.) I am a lezzy and b.) I don't have a headboard! joke was on me, there, eh? yeah, I laughed all the way to the fucking bank to deposit my millions and the mQQn the landlady gave me.

Red lipsI am going to go watch family guy whilst we still have electricity, I know I'm gonna miss it when it's gone... boo hooooo...

PS. does any one else watch "ancient aliens" on the history channel? we do, it's based on fact, and SQ interesting. just remember, we aren't alone...

but seriously, it gives you quite a lot to ponder.

Ugh, crappy landladies suck! And being awoken by loud noises on my roof would make me convinced that my home was being infiltrated from above. I don't know by whom, but no home infiltration is ever good.

I hate that you are having to move...I know you like your place. And really, if I don't get any pool photos of you during the summer, not sure what i will do.
Since she is fixing the roof...perhaps she will repair the other stuff too????
I think you should get a goldfish, they are quiet.

ps. wearing underwear is way overrated. So, I am told.

Chris, you are just what we needed before we nod off into wonderland! You always crack me up!
I know that is how you handle things....like having to move! That's a pain!
Sounds good at work and now you are ready to go, so to speak. Where, I am not quite sure.....give me a break here, it's late.
Good to hear from you and see that things are going better than they were....before you got the new job.
Nighty night!
