all pictures [from photobucket] click larger if you wanna read what they say. jus’ sayin..

my daughter and her husband leave for Costa Rica early this morning and will be bringing Julian for us to keep for the week they are gone. we have some fun things planned to do with him and I am sure pictures will be posted. for Easter celebration we made jujube a cute Easter basket with mostly toys and a little candy. I’ve always done it that way. if the weather permits, we will cook out and have the fire pit going, on the deck. if it rains, then we’ll just cook indoors and watch movies and play games. my 3 sons [hah! Fred McMurry]  will be here, and it should be a fun day. my sister and niece will stop over too.. the more the merrier, I always say… and better out than in…

Julian has been getting a lot of playtime and joy out of our Lego collection. it is all the sets my 4 kids had, over the years. it fills a huge laundry basket sized container. they were my personal favorite toys for the kids. it was always fun to make new things. however, it was NOT fun to pick them all up after they would dump the whole bucket out.. [which they did E.A.C.H. & E.V.E.R.Y T.I.M.E.] specially when we forgot one, to which it NEVAR failed that I ended up stepping on, barefoot.

I didn’t get the job I applied for. I received an email saying that although my qualifications were adequate, they decided to hire from within the company. I really wanted that job, and I liked everything about it except for one thing- the hours. it would have been Mon-Fri  7am to 3:30 pm, AND Sat/Sun from 3 to 11pm on every other weekend. for the past 12 years I have been working three 12 hour night shifts and I don’t think I could handle that other schedule with my medical problems. it was the ONLY thing that didn’t fit 100% for me about this job. but I would have done it, just to be working again. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I am keeping my faith that the right one will come along for me, in God’s timing, when I am ready. this was a good experience to practice my interviewing skills. I have still been applying like crazy for other positions and will keep you guys updated. BTW, erm…. anyone know how much a gal can make doing a phone sex job?

I have been a crocheting fool lately… making a ---- for ------, AND nearly finished with a ------- for ------! they are surprises so I cannot give details at this time incase some nosy little eyes reads me post. suffice to say, I will post pictures after they are given. I guess I can give you a few clues, k? here are said clues… 1.) ALIENS  and  2.) A SHOE HORN. if perchance anyone wants to try guessing and guesses WHAT THEY ARE, I will personally send you some Easter candy which I plan on purchasing for half price on Monday. really, it’s a deal you can’t refuse.

until next post, take care my peeps and remember not to bite the heads off your kid’s chocolate bunnies… it makes them cry.

not that I EVAR did that, mind you… NOoOoOoOo way, Jose.

Oh shoot - I'm sorry about the job. But at least you have your adorable grandson to make you smile all week. :)

Sorry about the job, but I bet phone sex positions are very profitable!
