Tante%20Bernadette[1]

…today is my mom’s birthday… she would have been 90 years old.

90!

I know people’s moms who are older than 90 and are still alive and spunky too. if only she hadn't smoked heavily so many years like she did. she might still have been here to enjoy all her grandkids, see me graduate from college, and be enjoying traveling between the 4 of us and being pampered in her old age. she loved going to BINGO so just think how much she would have loved playing pennies at the casino… the fact that she died young is so sad.

Bonne Anniversaire, Maman.

je t’aime toujours.

Now do you, Chris, look like your mother or what! She was a very beautiful woman. She is still here in a number of ways.....especially through you.

Hey Chris, again. My present camera is a Nikon D90 and I really like it too!I've always had a Nikon....from an old used one I had for years and just sold recently, to this one.
You know it really isn't the type of camera that 'makes' the photo. It's learning to 'see' what you want to capture. It takes a lot of trial and error. We usually take tons of pics and get maybe a half dozen that we like.
So, you don't need an expensive camera....I've seen incredible shots taken with a 'point and shoot' camera.
It's all in what you see Missy!

Aw, happy birthday to your mama. Man, I know I've said it a million times before, and several people above have said it, too, but sheesh, you look just like your beautiful mama!!!

Yes mothers and their smoking...the ol' peer group pressure thing...my Mom stopped at age 56 when the Dr told her to because she needed a bypass. I guess my coughing and writing CANCER on her cigarette box wasn't enough!
