hi. i finally have some down time before i go to bed, to write a little. i am having such a great time here with my sister  and her family. they have treated me like the princess that i am.. bwahaha
i have been eating fresh seafood nearly everyday. Saturday Jo and i went to the Moorehead Seafood Festival on the beach and it was fun. we walked around the boardwalk, and between the aromas of the food stands, the bustling ambiance of all the people & the bands playing, and being by the water i was just in heaven. i think i could live here but i wouldn't ever leave my kids so far away from me.
after the festival Jo and i went to the beach and hung out for awhile. i went in the water up to my knees as it was a bit chilly, and we looked for seashells as we walked the beach.. but didn't find any intact ones. i have always been drawn to water and i feel the best when i am either in it or by it. i think i was a dolphin in an earlier life.
Sat. night Jo's MIL took us out for Chinese food, and at the end we all ate our fortune cookies.. and shared our fortunes with each other... well Jo couldn't find hers... come to realize when she broke her cookie in half, she inadvertently ate the freaking paper in it! we have been teasing her about it being readable when it finally comes out!!! we laughed so hard..
tomorrow [Monday] we are going an hour and a half away for an appointment for Jo's migraines. i hope this new Dr. can help her. then Tuesday it is supposed to be sunny so we are going to pack a picnic and spend the day at the beach.
there will be many pictures to follow whenst i return home and download what's on my camera. i feel so blessed to have been able to take this trip, i needed it, and i am very thankful. i speak to the wife and kids daily and i miss them.. and i miss my Bella too.
i will post again soon.

take care my peeps,

C

So what you are saying is, you are NOT having fun????
Kidding.
Your trip sounds restful, joyful and needed!!!!
Love me some seafood too. Can you believe I live 7 miles from the beach and have not been since...since maybe last thanksgiving??? I am a horrible Florida girl.

I wonder if eating your fortune makes it really happen???

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

hahahaha, still waiting for the fortune cookie....lol! just kidding, im pretty regular, like you wanted to know that! ha ha! i have posted some pics on my blog, and chris will post from my computer today and try to upload pics to post here, we each share all pics taken so we don't miss any shared moments. i have them all on my lil laptop, so she can post from mine instead of the house computer, that way she can share pics before she gets home. she had some pretty bad "aches" in her foot last night. real bad sharp pains, i think in my medical opinion, lol, it was from all the walking we did on the beach. she did it barefooted, poor lil thing. i medicated her and put her to bed after a nice foot rub. we stayed up crafting/sewing till 3am this morning! today we are hitting all the thrift shops nearby. gotta love goodwill! well, we will keep you informed. OH! forgot to tell you....my appt to the neurologist was a bust. he basically said my migraines were a secondary symptom to my fibromyalgia! i didn't like him, not a bit. he gave me Rx's for Botox injections to neck and head for the pain. Sure....might take care of the wrinkles, but at $400 a bottle? and the insurance won't even cover it. pfffttt! i'm done, that is the 4th neurologist i've seen. i think i am destined to live with these. anyhoooo, today is a good day, off to the thrift shops with me sissy. gotta get all the bargains before someone else finds thems. lol
