gotta Tiger by the tail..

 caricature-tiger-woods

ok. i have had enough about Tiger Woods and his recent "transgressions". i cant say i have always been a fan of his as golf bores me unless i am playing put-put golf with the kids. however, i have thought to myself many times that it was way cool how he has risen to such fame and fortune after having come from humble beginnings and i always admired the relationship he had with his dad. i lerve it when someone's bestie is their mom or dad.

now, after all that is being revealed about him, it makes me wonder if he and his dad shared in some transgressions, meaning both covered for each other... and the thought of such just blows my trust issues out of the water once again. i am not meaning to be judgmental because infidelity carries its own consequences and he and the Mrs... will have to deal with that in private.. but what angers me about this, is that he received preferential treatment and privileges simply because he is famous.. that is what bothers me the most. there seems to be an unspoken law in this country that if you are rich and famous, you are placed above the rest of us when we are all just human beings on this planet. we all change our underwear the same way and we all poop and pass gas... [some more so than others ;)] there shouldn't be one rule for some and another rule for others. i thought we were "all created equal" with justice and liberty for all. i really don't care if he cheated on his wife and got caught... that is their problem and they deserve the privacy to work that out. but don't give him special treatment and privileges just because he can hit a ball into a hole on a big field wearing baggy shorts. he is just a man after all.. no body is perfect and no one should be treated less than or better than another based on financial status, fame, religion, nationality, race, or sexual orientation when legalities are involved. period.

everyone is primarily focused on whether or not he had affairs and what he will do next..etc.. they have missed the point.

they are all looking at the wrong priority.

the train has left the station.

there is no more chocolate ice cream.

Dorothy has gone over the rainbow. twice.

What a let down. He is the highest paid athelete EVER...because of all his endorsements and it was such a great thing to see him as a happy family man (not a thug, not a playboy)
I say pooh on him and his boring ass golf game. :)

What gets me annoyed is how the wingnuts are so afraid the gays will ruin the "sanctuary of marriage".

DUH!

You're right. But I can't help but be very diappointed. He seemed like such a classy guy. But it was all an illusion.

I agree with you too, Jude!
