my wife, she LERVES raw oysters...

Diane, my love, my soul mate...

best muffaletta i ever ate...

Saturday night we went out to dinner to celebrate our 10 year anniversary which is actually May 28, but with the birthdays, graduation, and family reunion going on at that time, it sort of got placed on the back burner. we decided since it was such a beautifully perfect evening out, we should take the opportunity to go to dinner. we decided on seafood. went to a joint called "Shuck's Oyster Bar" and the meal was divine. Diane had always wanted to try raw oysters and so she did. she absolutely positively loved them! me? i ate 'em fried... it looked too much like a shell full of phlem for me to even try it. [gagging in the back of my throat now]. then, i had trout and she had swordfish. yummy food! it was a very nice outing if i must say so meself. we came home afterwards, my sister and bro-in-law came by, and we played cards. after about an hour, Diane turns this whiter shade of pale, bolts for the bathroom and we can hear her violently throwing up everything she had eaten! OH MY GOD SHE WAS ILL! then it started coming out the other end and i knew she was done for. it all started around 0930 pm and I'm sorry to say she vomited and shat violently until 0430 in the morning. our company left after the first 3 rounds as she'd feel better, come back to the table and play another hand only to throw down her cards as another attack came over her. yep, needless to say we didn't finish the game, which really sucked as we were ahead...... within a few hours of huggin the ole bowl, she became very weak, spiked a temp. and burst a few capillary veins in her eyes from the force of it all. i bet she could have sand blasted the paint off a wall with the pressure coming outta her body.... i felt so helpless, and bad for her... she had SO enjoyed them oysters goin down at dinner. alas, she proclaimed in between pukings that she would NEVAH, EVAH, NEVAH fucking eat raw oysters again.... bless her little salmonellic heart....

i love her....

there was one good thing that came out of it, though.... every time she finished a round of hurling, she'd get up, brush her teeth, and i just had to say her hair looked so fucking cute! funny what a little hangin in the toilet bowl does for a do..... as if she went and had it done. obviously she did not find humor in my observation, but we did chuckle about it the next day. i told her, hey, next time we go out, can you just vomit a little so your hair will come out cute like the other night.....

wanna see where she slapped me?

I've not been liking my hair lately, so basically, you are telling me if I eat some raw oysters & throw up all night, my hair situation will improve? No thanks.

Glad it started out so wonderful but sorry it ended so terrible. ~Mary

By the way, Happy Anniversary!!!
It warms my heart that you're so in love. I too have a love like yours and I always feel sorry for people that don't ever get to experience that.
