it is a wonderfully dark, stormy Sunday morning. severe thunder and lightening which woke us all up early... i LERVE it... [ala Celine Dion]. i have been thinking alot about UFOs lately and don't know why. now i have been introduced to USOs, via a documentary we saw last night. apparently there are ALIENS living under our oceans, they have alien bases, some near Cuba and some near the gulf of Florida. [watch out, Suz] many reported sightings, stories of how the alien crafts emerge and submerge the waters without noise or a splash, flickering lights under the surfaces, oh my! fact or fiction? i dunno. but the prospect that we are not alone, not only in our skies but now under our oceans, makes me wonder even more. i do firmly believe we are not alone in the vast universe. it doesn't make sense to me that we could be. i also believe in God and heaven, that when our body dies, our soul leaves it to go somewhere else. i am feeling conflict about my belief in the two, because they do not support each other at all... [unless God is a supreme alien being?] then i start thinking about how the Egyptians, Mayans and other very old cultures have writings and pictures in caves and inside the pyramids, portraying alien looking beings... and i think, how the hell is that possible when there was no TV back then, no magazines, pictures.... or mail, no available resources at all to spread the rumours of such beings.... they were continents apart yet have similar drawings. my mind is totally baffled by this. it makes sense to me that if there were such beings, it would explain how ancient wonders were made, as even with today's technology and science, we cant figure out how it was done, how it was humanly possible to build and in script such things. science has always blended in with my spiritual beliefs, and leaves me wondering and asking myself.... WTF. anyone else out there as cornfused as i? i mean really, what are we supposed to think.... part of me has a firm belief in the UFOs, specially since one followed me home once [see older post] but now USOs ??? sounds a bit "out there" or should i say "under there" if you know what i mean. so many unanswered questions, so many things to contemplate on this stormy Sunday morning....
I'm gonna get a cuppa tea.

USO'S? Oh, those are the strange people I see at the beach, I just assumed they were europeans. My Bad. :_
I love me some thunderstorms. We have them almost daily late summer early fall. You can almost set your clock and wait...around 3:00 you see the dark clouds coming in from the everglades....and bam...it hits us.

tatoone, what kind of drugs you taking??? lol just kidding. i know about ufo's. we were together for that one. now i gotta watch the frikkin water here at the beach too? geez....i'm not safe anyplace i go!! on a serious note though, i would be very hard-pressed to believe that God, the Creator of all the universe and all that is in it, would only have limited himself to one "being" or human-kind. there could be planets with peeps all over, some with intelligence greater than ours, or worse, way more advanced, or different, and they are just as curious about another planet and searching. all i know is that for us to limit God, we are some kind of dumb. HE IS GOD!! but why worry or focus on that? when we get there, we can ask all those questions, n'est pas? so, relax your weary lil bones, focus on the here and now. enjoy life....eat, drink and beat mary.... for tomorrow will be here soon enough! i love you, toone. i miss you bunchies. jo

I totally believe we are not alone in the universe, it would be pretentious to think that!

Would love "proof" though but I doubt it'll happen in my lifetime... too bad, dat.

Okay, more things to add to my "I'm Scared Of.." list. Interesting, that specific location in the ocean, since it's near The Bermuda Triangle, where freaky things have always occurred.

Then you mention the Mayans and all I keep hearing about is the end of the world in 2012 based on the Mayan calendar, as well as other ancient civilizations' predictions.

I agree with the other posters...it would be naive of us to believe that we were the ONLY beings that God created. No one ever said that everyone in Heaven would look just like us!!!!

Cool Breeze believes that he will one day see a UFO. He's hoping it will land in the big field in front of our house. I'm hoping that I have cookies baked when they arrive;)
