i just read a story in the news that a 19 year old Florida man committed suicide on a web cam, for anyone to watch on the Internet. it was live. thousands of people watched him die. he took an overdose of medication and slowly slipped into a coma and died. 12 hours of rolling film. many onlookers thought it was a joke and were rooting for him to die. some waged bets. as the 12th hour approached, the grisly reality of his death began to sink in. some called the police but it was too late. the video even shows the police knocking his door down in an attempt to revive him. this made me sick. and i still cant believe it. is this REALLY what it has come down to, for entertainment purposes..... our kids giving up their lives just to draw attention to themselves like this? to what degree of deficit has our society come to? this kid could of joined the army, gone to Iraq and at least died for a noble reason..... THIS?

this is a fucking waste.... yep.
