here we go again. another world crisis occurring right before our very eyes. tell me, i ask- WTF is going on in India? bombings, kidnappings, hostages, deaths, more bombings, fires....has everybody gone mad? no place is safe any more. i keep thinking about that old movie, mad max... the one with Tina turner who is a vigilante... it's all supposed to take place in the future, man against man, only the strongest survive, people living underground cuz it's not safe to even go out... and those in authority making life hell for those not. i used to watch that and think, my god! what if that were ever to really happen... what if our world ever reaches that point? it scared the shit outta me back then. i had to slap myself out of it. so i turn on the news to relax before i crash from working all night, and lo and behold, another country under attack! right on thanksgiving, to top it off. all i can think about and say is WTF....

i don't think the futuristic "mad max" kind of world is too far off, do you?

oh, but there is more to come... i saw in the news the other day that Osama Bin Laden posted a threat that his next endeavor would make 9/11 look like a party. so just when we think it's all safe again to go back into the water....... POW right in the kisser. i really can't imagine anything worse than 9/11, but hey, i have such a sane little peaceful mind compared to the terrorist's ingenuity. they have become SO creative. they can hide right out in the open. how smart is that? i only aspire to live in peace and continuity in the safety of my own country.....

the thought of anything else makes my ass twitch.

i am SO tired. three 12 hour shifts in a row are killer on this old body of mine. I'm only 53 and I'm SO falling apart. i know i am being a bah humbug on turkey day... OK OK I'll STFU now pass the cranberries, already....
