sorry it’s been so long since I have posted. I’ve missed you guys. I have been jumping through hoops, filling out paperwork and trying to muddle my way through red tape… in order to try to find a job. no luck so far. but I will not give up that easily!

of course soon I may be blogging out of a cardboard box on a corner downtown, but lets not go there quite yet. I’ve come too far to let a few “no, sorry’s” get in my way.

my youngest son was on spring break from college so he spent the week here with us. it was so good to have him home, spend time and cook for him.. he’s just so adorable!

as time goes on, my life keeps changing a little bit here and a smidgen there.. as I continue to keep adjusting, I find that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I have been crocheting a lot, it helps chillax me. I finished a blanket/throw for Diane to have on the couch, and am working on another one for—oops, almost gave it away. I cant say who it’s for yet. but here's a picture of the one I made the wifey pooh.

it’s actually a sage green although it doesn’t look like it here.

Thursday we will have Julian for the day.

and on Thursday nights we will be watching my oldest son’s goggie Leo for 3 hours whilst he is in a class.

and I think I am going to make a nice yummy spaghetti for dinner, let it simmer all day, cuz I LERVE the smell of something cooking throughout the house.

my youngest son Christophe gave us some free tickets he acquired for a show at the Holland so Diane and I will attend on Friday night. it’s “The Blue Planet” movie put to music by the Omaha Orchestra. should be cool.

have a great day, peeps…

That afghan is gorgeous! I LOVE that color!

I'm sorry the job hunt has been sucking donkey balls. :(

I'm so glad Christopher was able to come spend a week with you guys. How fun!

I've been intending to call/email you for about a week now to tell you about Michigan. I've been feeling kinda icky this week, so I obviously haven't gotten around to it yet, but maybe this weekend.

Have a wonderful time tomorrow night - you and Diane deserve a nice night out. :)

Also, thank you for your lovely comment over at my place. It always makes me feel better, knowing I have people like you on my side.

oh mares eat oats and goats eat oats and lil lambs eat ivy, a kid'll eat ivy too wouldn't you?

i kept singing it to her belly, and i would say in a deep raspy voice, "hey loo loo, nonna loves you!" jin would say she isn't going to want to come out now with that voice. she'll be clawing her way back in!! lmao!
