as I said in my last post, I feel much better after journaling about my dad. “better out than in” Shrek always says..

last night Christophe had a concert with several solo parts and we were so proud of him! he is awesome. he has been looking into transferring to Laval University in Montreal either next year or the year after.. it is a sister school to UNO here, and tuition/dorms are the same price. I will do what I can to help him go. we still have relatives in Montreal and surrounding area, my goal is to contact some cousins and hopefully they will get to know my son. I am so excited for him! it’s something I have always wanted to do myself… living vicariously through your kids can be fun!

last night after we got home from the concert, my oldest son Nicholas, and middle son Alex, brought Diane and I a 47 inch big screen TV! it’s an older one they bought from a friend however it still works and it’s great to watch a bigger screen. they said it is an early Christmas prezzie… aren't they cute, though? I love them so much!

tomorrow our jujube turns 5! I cant believe how time has flown… always too fast in my opinion. he said to me “gramma, you are 50 years older than me and when I turn 6 you will turn 56…” and went up through the years.. he is SO smart.

he has so many little traits and characteristics like his mAmA did at the same ages that I get to appreciate and enjoy that again. it’s SO neat being a gramma. I once thought I could never love deeper than I love my kids but it’s there just the same for my grandson and I would give my life for him just like any one of my kids..

as I write this, he is “windexing” all my appliances in the kitchen at his insistence to “help me”.. soon it will be time for lunch, then off to pre-school.. we really love our time babysitting him. he doesn’t have school on Fridays so we usually plan a fun outing with either a picnic or lunch somewhere.

time to run.. figuratively. I don’t do RUN no mo’… LMAO makes my chubbies go every which way consequently throwing me off balance which could potentially make me fall and who wants to break another bone? jus sayin..

WOW - what a gorgeous grandson you have! My mom has always told me she loves being a grandmother WAY more than she loved being a mom... (and I've also heard that grandkids are the rewards you get for not KILLING your kids when they are teens...) :)

Montreal? Cool! I've always wanted to visit... I know it is a beautiful city! I'm sure it would be wonderful to live and study there!

AND a 47" TV???
Dang, girl... sounds like you have some exciting stuff goin' on in your world!

How exciting for Christopher to have so many solos. I'm sure the concert was awesome. And, wow, your kids are awfully sweet to bring you that TV for Christmas. AND, they didn't make you wait another month and a half for it! ;-)

Julian could NOT be any cuter, could he? I love that he was helping you clean. Stud used to do the same thing. Too cute!
