top o' the mornin to ya, i say.... so what's new witchew? hope your weekend was great and that when Monday rolls around, you'll be all spiffied up and ready to do what needs doin. i have a crock pot of spaghetti sauce and meatballs simmering for tonight's dinner. [all homemade of course]. Alex is having a friend over and i have to work. then i am off all week until fri/sat/sun.

you know how i bought my new car with the cash for clunkers deal the government was having?

i still haven't received the title to the new car yet. the dealership won't release it until they get paid by the government. it's been over a month now. i heard on the news that this is happening everywhere. at least I'm not the only one. but even that is of no comfort to me. i have already paid my taxes on it, but can't register and licence it until i have that title. so i am driving illegally at the moment. i called the dealership [KIA] and complained... they said if i get a ticket for driving an unlicensed vehicle, they will pay for it. when the government is involved, there is always a catch, isn't there?

we went to my sister's house for dinner last night and played cards. it was her mother-in-laws

b-day. i love my sister. she has many wonderful qualities and talents. but she can be such a bitch. she has this way of being condescending no matter what we say, and even her look is the look of an angry person. Diane and i couldn't wait to get out of there. there is only so much of her in that mood that we can take. i wish it were different. i wish she was happy, but i do not think she is. we will take a break from getting together with her for a while. but then i will miss having family get togethers.

the summer seems to be nearly over. we haven't had a good one for swimming, that's for sure. i was hoping to have an Indian summer in September, so we could swim a few more times but alas, i don't think it will happen. so we will sadly have to start winterizing and closing down the pool, until next summer. i am not ready for the summer to be over. i didn't get my fill of it because we only had a minimal amount of hot days, and it never even reached the 100's like it usually does. when i bask in the sun, it warms me to the bone, and i feel energized afterward. yeah yeah i know it's not good for me, but i have fibromyalgia and the heat feels so good on my aching body. i crave it. if i were rich i would spend the winters in a hot place with a beach and a pool. the older i get, the more i ache and hurt with it. living smack in the middle of our country doesn't do well for my aching muscles and bones. I NEED SUN! too bad they can't bottle it.

well it's time for me to say goodbye and get some sleep before work. have a great Sunday and don't forget to read post secret. it's a Sunday must.
